Maputo's primary operating zones are the Polana district (upmarket residential and hotel area, lower crime profile within the city, primary zone for international business accommodation -- Polana Serena Hotel, Radisson Blu Maputo) and Sommerschield (embassy and residential area adjacent to Polana). Night movement is restricted to the Polana-Sommerschield zone only; movement to the Baixa or other areas after dark is not conducted.
