How we vet security operators, who we are, and why our three-tier verification process matters when hiring close protection in high-risk cities.

Vetting is the product

Anyone can build a website and list security companies. The question is whether those companies are actually qualified, currently licensed, and capable of protecting a client in a specific city.

That question is harder to answer than it looks. A company with a professional website and a UK phone number may subcontract all its work to whoever answers the phone in Lagos. A small local firm with no web presence may have six former military officers who have worked in the city for fifteen years.

We exist to tell the difference. Not from a website review. From documented verification.

How we verify operators

Every operator in our network has completed our three-tier process before we recommend them to any client.

Bronze covers the legal baseline. We verify business registration against national registries, check licence numbers against issuing authorities, and confirm insurance certificates are current. If a firm cannot pass Bronze, they are not in our database.

Silver covers background and competence. Criminal checks on all principals, minimum three professional references (at least one corporate client, all contacted and verified), training certificates checked against the issuing institution, and a structured interview scored against a standard rubric. Silver is the minimum tier for any operator we recommend.

Gold requires operational evidence. Completed engagements through our network reviewed against client feedback, an operational assessment in the operator’s working environment, and a clean incident record. Gold operators are featured on city pages and prioritised for new enquiries.

Background checks are refreshed every two years. Insurance and licensing are tracked against expiry dates. Any red flag triggers an immediate review.

What we verify, and what we cannot

Vetting reduces risk. It does not eliminate it.

We verify identity, licensing, training, and references. We cannot guarantee performance on any specific assignment. We cannot guarantee that an operator will perform exactly as instructed in an unexpected situation. We cannot verify every individual guard on a team, only principals and the firm’s management.

This is why we are honest with clients about tier levels. A Bronze operator is in our database. A Silver operator has been background-checked and interviewed. A Gold operator has a track record we have reviewed. The tier matters when selecting an operator for a sensitive assignment.

The business model

We operate on a white-label basis. When a client enquires, we identify the most suitable vetted operator, coordinate the engagement, and manage the relationship. Pricing is handled through us. Clients deal with one point of contact throughout.

This model exists for two reasons. First, it allows us to enforce standards consistently: operators who do not maintain their tier lose access to engagements. Second, it gives clients a single point of accountability regardless of which city they are operating in.

Confidentiality

Every enquiry is treated as confidential. We do not share client details with operators without explicit consent. We do not retain client communications beyond what is required to manage an engagement. Our enquiry process uses encrypted channels. Contact information is never stored on public-facing infrastructure.

For clients who require formal confidentiality agreements, NDA templates are available on request before any information is shared.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

We are a security services intermediary. We identify, vet, and match clients with licensed security operators in high-risk cities worldwide. The operators we recommend hold their own local licences and carry their own liability. Our role is verification, matching, and confidential coordination.

Our current network covers 15 priority cities including Lagos, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Bogota, Mexico City, Istanbul, Riyadh, Dubai, Mumbai, Moscow, Sao Paulo, Manila, Karachi, Bangkok, and Jakarta. Coverage is expanding. Contact us with your destination and we will confirm availability.

We provide a vetting summary for any operator we recommend, including their tier, what was verified, and when. We do not send operators without documentation. If you want to see the vetting record before committing, ask and we will share what we can within confidentiality constraints.

Yes. Our network pages list the types of operators we work with and the standards they meet. Some clients prefer direct hire after using us to identify qualified operators in a new market. We facilitate that as part of our service.
